Description: |
#15 is a visually stunning downhill par 3. The tee boxes are well above green level and offer another fantastic water view. The further back the tee box, the more tunnel-like the approach shot becomes. The green is among the largest and flattest FRCC has to offer. There are a few bunkers on each side of the hole, but it is extremely open in comparison to most of the course. |
|
How to Play It: |
As with any tee shot from an elevated surface to one below it, the hole itself will play shorter than the yardage. However, the wind is a huge factor here. Taking a guess as to how much the wind may help or hinder your tee shot is easy when compared to a cross wind. The tree lined tee box, especially from the rear gold tees, significantly prevents you from compensating with your aim left or right . On calm days, take aim and fire away. If the winds are up, be thankful the area around the green is wide open, or learn how to shape your ball flight into a cross wind! |
