| Description: |
| #11 is a short dogleg left with an elevated, narrow, severely two-tiered green. A dense tree line resides along the length of the left side of the hole, while the right side is somewhat open, but with a few well-placed trees. The fairway narrows as you get closer to the green, while slowly increasing in slope upward. There are two fairway bunkers possibly in play off the tee, while a small pot bunker rests just in front of the green. A bunker protects errant approach shots left of the green from careening into the river. A large hill sits right of the green, often kicking off-line shots onto the putting surface. The reduction of trees surrounding the green during the fall of 2010 restored some of the finest views the course has to offer. |

| How to Play It: |
| The green is reachable by longer hitters off the tee, but the margin of error is slim and the potential negative outcomes numerous. Accuracy is the key here. The best option is to the hit an iron or hybrid that will leave you a full swing 100-120 yard shot and a mostly flat lie in the fairway. The approach shot will determine whether this is an easy birdie or par, or if you are shaking your head as you move to the 12th tee. Add at least half a club for the approach before factoring in the wind, too. A miss left or long will leave a difficult up and down, while leaving your shot on the wrong tier of the green can quickly lead to three and four putts! Short putts will often have many subtle breaks, generally sliding back towards the water below. |
