Description: |
A straight away par 4 with a challenging green, success on this hole is predicated on accuracy and wise decision making. Located on the lower grounds of the course with one of the more open fairways, wind is a big factor here. |
|
How to Play It: |
The wind will dictate your club choice off the tee, preferably down the right side of the fairway. Miss too far left and you will be blocked from seeing the putting surface. Errant shots right can still afford you a view of the green, but a few trees may intervene. An approach shot with a high trajectory is preferred.
The green is elevated, typically adding at least a half club to your approach shot club selection. An approach shot yanked left may be fortunate enough to bounce off the hill and onto the green, but we don't suggest planning on it.
With a slippery surface to putt on you must try to keep your ball below the hole! |
