Fall River Country Club's most unique major, the Marty Higgins Tournament, was held on June 16 and 17. The tournament features member/member teams playing FOUR different challenging nine hole formats. Given that this year's event fell on Father's Day Weekend, it was only fitting the event was won by the only father-son duo in the field!

Congratulations to Ted Dempsey and Brian Dempsey for winning the 2012 Marty Higgins Tournament! The Dempsey's turned in a dominating performance, practically lapping the field, and posting an amazing score of -16.5! What a great performance.

The second and third place finishers also posted outstanding 36-hole totals! Second place was captured by the tandem of Jeff Souza and Karl Hetlzer with total of -9.5, while 3rd place honors went to Bill Ward and Bob Valente with a score of -8.5.
